‘Oggyatonama’, a film of Impress Telefilms’ is all set to be premiered at the business part of the prestigious 69th Cannes Film Festival, Marche du Film.
The film directed by Tauqir Ahmed and produced by Impress Telefilm Ltd, will be screened at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès at 6 PM on May 17. Palais des Festivals et des Congrès is the main center for the Cannes Film Festival, scheduled to commence from May 11 and finish on May 22.
This is the fourth time Tauqir is showing his directorial prowess and the venture ‘Oggyatonama’ depicts the lives of Middle East expatriates. It boasts a cast of Mosharraf Karim, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shatabdi Wadud, and Nipun.
Amidst the announcement of screening, the latest great news is that illustrious film distributors such as Warner Bros, Eros and MK2 have expressed their utmost interest to watch this film.
The business counterpart of this festival, Marché du Film will be held from May 11 to May 20.
The managing director of Impress Telefilm Ltd Faridur Reza Sagor, and their director of marketing and sales of Ibne Hasan Khan along with the director of this drama Tauqir Ahmed have been invited to this show and will be attending the Marché du Film.
